- Easy Care and Maintenance! This alpaca wool blanket is surprisingly easy to care for. Simply hand wash in cold water or machine wash on delicate with mild liquid detergent (we recommend Outback Gold Wool Wash).
- King size blanket: 86 x 103 inches, weight 7.2 lbs. The surface of both sides is brushed for a soft, wooly texture. Reinforced binding protects the edging and increases durability.
- 100% Made in Peru! The raw wool is cleaned, spun, and woven in our mill in Peru with natural fiber sourced from Huacaya alpaca and Merino sheep high in the Andes mountains.

The extreme terrain and climate of the Andes mountains is where the softest, finest wool in the world is produced. Straight from Peru, this is the same luxurious wool that was treasured by the Incas. Alpaca wool is fine, soft, and the fibers are straight, while Merino wool which is also fine and soft, has a natural crimp which adds loft to the weave. Blending these fine wools together results in a luxuriously soft blanket that is thick, warm, and breathable.
How do I wash it?
Use mild liquid soap or wool wash - no bleach or enzymes (we recommend using *Outback Gold Wool Wash).
Machine wash, cold water, delicate cycle or hand wash.
Do not agitate.
Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry.
Can also be dry cleaned.
Does it smell?
Alpaca and sheep both have their own unique smells. The fibers in this blanket have not been heavily processed and still retain some of their natural scent. This scent will fade over time by fresh air, or the use of our Outback Gold Wool Spray.
